The 2018 World Gas Conference (WGC), the largest global natural gas conference and exhibition covering the full spectrum of the industry. WGC takes place once every three years and is presented by the International Gas Union (IGU). WGC Washington 2018 will take place in Washington DC, USA under the 2015 – 2018 IGU Presidency of the Americans. It is anticipated that WGC 2018 will be the largest, timely and most significant global gas conference and exhibition ever held.
The World Gas Conference is held every three years in the country holding the Presidency of the International Gas Union (IGU). WGC 2018, being held June 25-29, 2018, will mark the culmination of the USA Presidency, under the theme “Fueling the Future.” Presented by the International Gas Union (IGU) which was founded in 1931 and recognized Global Voice for the Gas Industry representing 97 percent of the global gas industry, this is the only event that is conducted by the industry, for the industry.For the first time in the 85-year history of IGU, the World Gas Conference will be held in a country that is both the world’s largest gas producing and consuming nation – the USA.
